Easter Egg Hunt in CB1
Mateo’s First Easter Egg Hunt
What a fabulous time day families had at the CB1 Easter Egg Hunt Event on Thursday the 18th of April. Bpha and partner CB1 Community jointly funded and held an event for families to enjoy activities in the gardens of the CB1 Community which comprises of over 500 residents including bpha residents at Huxley House and Gilbert House.
Over 18 children of various ages enjoyed sitting outside colouring in their easter bags before running wild around the gardens looking for chocolate delights in the bushes. Chocolate really does have a profound effect on people and there were a few competitive adults who were enjoying the hunt as much as the children.
Families enjoyed the picnic afterwards with soup and roll and Easter treats. Bpha and CB1 Community will run this event again next year.
Here are some comments made by some mums about the event.
Maria said “It was my baby’s first Easter Hunt. His name is Mateo, and he is one years old. It was a very special moment. Thank you for how generous you have been.”
Becca said “Today was great for all ages and everyone really enjoyed it. Thank you for organising this for us.
Kate said “This event was very well organised and was so nice to have somewhere for us to hang out together with our children. It’s been wonderful. Thank you so much. We need more events like this.
