£1000 Grants to boost community wellbeing,
At CB1 Community, we work to support and nurture our local community to connect, thrive, and live healthy lives.
CB1 Together Fund aims to support projects and initiatives in CB1 that promote wellbeing, community spirit, and social cohesion where diversity is celebrated and valued, and opportunities are available for all.
Application Guidelines
CB1 Location
Projects must be undertaken within the CB1 Estate (see map for details)
Who can apply?
- CB1 Community residents
- Local businesses
- Student groups
- Community and voluntary organisations
- Company limited by guarantee
- Registered charities
- Constituted clubs or groups
Note – a business or voluntary organisation outside of CB1 Estate can choose to partner with student groups or CB1 Community residents to deliver a project
In addition, applicants need to:
- Be over the age of 16 (if under 18, permission needs to be given from an appropriate adult)
- The project must be for residents and people who work in the CB1 Community
Who cannot apply:

- Organisations/projects that duplicate the work of an existing CB1 Community project
- Activities of a political party or campaigning for a political purpose
The Grant
What can you use the grant for?
The project should be a one-off activity with a clear beginning and end aimed at the CB1 Community.
How much can you apply for?
Each applicant can apply for a grant of up to £1000.
Financial details
You must have a bank account to receive funding from CB1 Together Fund.
How your application will be assessed
All applications will be assessed by an independent panel, , made up of individuals within the local community in a position of trust and unconnected to the CB1 Estate. The panel will check your application and get back to you if any information is missing or needs clarifying. The project will be assessed to ensure it meets the CB1 Together grant criteria.
Priority will be given to
- Those individuals or organisations that are demonstrably linked to CB1 Community
- Activities benefiting CB1 Community and have a tangible impact.
