Clothes Swap and Repair Cafe at Summer in the Square, Station Square, 4.30 – 6.30pm
Our last Summer in the Square event on Wednesday 30th July will focus on repair and rehoming clothes, with Cambridge Carbon Footprint. There will be a Repair Café focused on fixing jeans, especially crotch repair, with demonstrations of other repair skills and a Clothes Swap to ensure that pre-loved items can find a new home. The event runs from 4.30 to 6.30pm in Station Square and also features free performances by Georgia Nevada and the always stunning Sean O’Hanrahan band. Brewboard will be providing beers and there will be a food truck for snacks .
If you have clothes to swap or donate please drop them off in advance if you can, Bring them to reception in 50-60 Station Road by Friday 25th July so we can sort and ready them, otherwise bring them on the day. You do not need to have given clothes to take things you like from the stall on day, Any clothes left at the end of the day will go to Cambridge charities. Bring items jeans or other items for repair to the event on the day.
