Robotics workshop at the Clayton Hotel on Saturday 2nd November

We held our first, free Robotics Workshop for children between 8 and 17 from 1030 to 12,30. Dr Sujit Bhattacharya of Cam Care UK led the session for an enthusiastic group of 17 children and 14 adult carers. The morning was a great success using the BBC Micro-bit tp build a number of models including a launch countdown, a Happy Birthday rendition and tunes children could compose for themselves.

This was a demonstration of the possibilities and it is hoped that many of those taking part will go on to join the regular workshops available to them.
